The 9th Indonesian Climate Forum & Expo will be held in Medan on 5 – 8 September 2019, under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia and the Environmental Agency of Sumatera Utara. The event is meant to be a contribution for the acceleration of the actions towards sustainable development in Asia and will present a comprehensive programme focused on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) implementation, commitments and progress made since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and more specifically, climate actions, challenges and opportunities for Indonesia.

Regions4 invites all regions and partners to join the event “Save Mangrove. Save our House” organised by the networks’ Vice-President for Asia, North Sumatra Government, within the Climate Corner at ICFE. With the participation of Regions4 Secretariat, this will be an excellent opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange and promotion of further collaboration and leadership towards the acceleration of sustainable development actions at the regional level in a global context.
