The European Green Deal sets out how to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. Alongside government policies and regulation, there is a role to play for citizens, communities and organisations in all sectors of our society and economy. To this end, as part of the Green Deal, the European Commission will launch a European Climate Pact to give citizens and stakeholders from all parts of society a voice and role in designing new climate actions, sharing information, launching grassroots activities and showcasing solutions that others can follow.

The EU Commission is seeking to gather input from a broad range of stakeholders, including national, regional and local authorities, businesses, civil society organisations, individual citizens and youth. The inputs from will be used to shape the Pact ahead of its launch before the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26), taking place next November in Glasgow.

We encourage all European members to contribute to this consultation by filling in the online questionnaire available here. Questionnaires are available in some or all official EU languages. You can submit your responses in any official EU language. Deadline to submit your contributions is 27 May 2020.
