The international agendas are filled with ongoing and new processes to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the biodiversity and climate emergencies. In a context where raising the ambition and accelerating the implementation to achieve the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs is more urgent than ever to build back better, the Regions4 General Assembly will be held on 18 June under the theme “Today’s action for tomorrow’s future”.

Hosted as a virtual event for the first time in the Network’s history, the meeting will give member regional governments the opportunity to exchange and discuss on their role as leading actors during and post COVID-19, the most relevant international agendas and Regions4 initiatives and opportunities for members.

The event will also serve as a high-level debate for the representatives of our constituency to share their views on the regional challenges and opportunities to enhance international cooperation in response to the global crises.

We invite you to spread the word about our subnational constituency’s leadership to enhance global cooperation, raise ambition to implement coherent policies and take part in the decision-making processes for the global agendas, by joining our online community to raise #RegionsVoice
