This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, a global commitment for climate action that continues to be more relevant than ever, with the urgency to raise the ambition to deliver on the agreed goals.

In December 2020 we also celebrate the 5th anniversary of the RegionsAdapt initiative, created in 2015 to reinforce the key role of regional governments to accelerate climate action and build climate-resilient territories.

A year ahead of COP26, Regions4 has launched the RegionsAdapt Brief Report 2020 showcasing the leadership of subnational governments to boost climate adaptation and tackle the climate emergency with important key findings.

To widely spread the results of the report, and as part of the #RegionsVoice campaign, Regions4 will gather our community’s messages to call for greater climate adaptation ambition, resources for implementation, as well as a multi-level governance system that reinforces the Nationally Determined Contributions for the achievement of the global goals.

Check out the first messages of the series and watch this space for more to come!
